How many burpees do you need to do to burn off a Thanksgiving meal?

According to the Calorie Control Council, the Thanksgiving meal itself averages out at 3,000 calories. Add drinks and apps, it can get to 4,500.

3,500 = a pound of fat

So, how many burpees would you have to do? About 5 hours of burpees non stop!!

I’m a huge advocate about planning your day, your week ahead of time so you have a plan it place.

Let's plan ahead.

Here are 6 tips to consume fewer calories:

1.) Work out in the morning before everything starts. Once everyone is awake and the ball starts rolling anything can happen. Avoid the “I SHOULD’VE just gotten my workout done and out of the way.”

2.) Plan ahead. Eat a healthy breakfast & a decent lunch to avoid being overly hungry.

3.) Drink a lot of water throughout the day and at the gathering.

4.) Survey what is being offered before you make a choice. Decide to enjoy the food you put on your plate. Make this your one plate of food.

5.) Wait at least 20 minutes before deciding on seconds. Choose dessert as your second serving rather than another round of food.

6.) Remember you can always have leftovers. Some dishes taste better the next day, so turkey day is not the only time you’re going to eat the food.

And if you overindulge, give yourself grace. Get up on Friday, eat a healthy breakfast, go workout, drink a lot of water.
