I cried myself to sleep last night
Self-doubt hit me yesterday! Not sure if it was because of my pregnancy hormones being all over the place or of Kobe’s (and all the families involved) tragic news. But, I started to think:
Am I being a good enough mom, wife, co-worker, friend, family member, coach, business owner? Am I impacting lives? There are days I feel like I can’t balance it all! And last night I cried before going to bed!
This morning I woke and decided to embraced my self-doubt, not stress about the little things and be grateful for my blessings!
We are not guaranteed tomorrow! I know this is hard to think about but, as we wrap up this last week of January 2020, look back and ask yourself:
Are you too tired and can’t keep up with your kids or can't stay up to spend time with your spouse and just push the relationship to the side?
Are you constantly on your phone looking at Pinterest for recipes, overwhelmed and stressed because you don’t know what you’re going to make for dinner?
If you answered yes, then this needs to change! These are little things that you should not be worrying about!
How would it feel if you had recommended recipes and all your meals planned out for week?
How would it feel to have workouts already made up for you, you don't have to think about what to do and you can do them anywhere, at home, at the gym or while traveling?
How would it feel to had the energy to play with your kids and stay up with your spouse and spend some time together while you're alert?
How would it feel if you felt great in your skin and to have someone support you every step of the way?
The first step to doing this is by taking control over your health and making yourself a priority!
You can do this by making simple changes to the quality of the foods you eat and by starting to move. Check out my 8 Week Get Strong & Fit Program and take a sneak peak at a sample workout along with a recipe I provide and let's chat.
I want you to not be stressed out. I want you to enjoy the life that you have. Your family deserves a happy you. Your family deserves to have parents that enjoy life!
Your worries about what to make for dinner, being tired and your over packed schedule … it’s all the little stuff. It all can be figured out when you put systems in place.
But, you spending quality time with your kids and your spouse, those memories are the big ones. Those will last forever.
Happy Monday and cheers to health,
Vanessa
